Today I have seen Harry Potter 6. Our Cinema offered a cheaper show at 11 a.m. and so I took the opportunity.
What do I think?
How should I say it. I am content with the outcome, but not full of enthusiasm.
The picture did not move me as the other It was nice, the darker parts were great - showing the coming darkness and most of all Dracos dilemma. Now he was the lost, the one who stood aside from the others, having secrets he could not share with any other of is "friends".
Somehow it mirrors Harrys situation in film 2, when the others discovered, that he could speak Parsel. And now it shows how weak he really is, although he dit not like to show it - especially not to Snape. Whom I liked in this film very much although he hat only some scenes (but more then in some of the other films).
But the exploration of Tom Riddles Secrets was to short for me. The scene in the cave was nicely filmed and somehow shocking in some parts, but as Dumbledore's death - it was not dramatic as Sirius' death scene. It looks as if they spared the fights for the last two movies. ..
I was often amused about the clumsy love teenager scenes, but sometimes (especially in the middle of the film) they were to much for me, they looked somehow strange. Maybe this was meant in this way, to give them the last good days before the confrontation.
it was okay, that there were less fighting scenes, because it gave the movie another note as the ones before, but it took much from its dramatic power away.
That is my opinion now, some hours after I have seen the film, maybe it will change a little bit later on
