In our "Gryphon and Phönix" World Freawyn and I create not always noble and proud creatures, sometimes they are rather silly or better funny, which help us to overcome melancholy or feel better, when we are frustrated.
First there were the "Phoenibris" ("Phoenix" and "Kolibri", the true form of our fairys who where created by a phoenix, who gave them the ability to chance shape in the old times - but this is forgotten today, they remain in their shape). They are colorful little birds with butterfly wings.
Then came the "Drachibris" ("Dragon" and "Kolibri"), the Offspring of fairys or Phoenibris with not so intelligent fairy-dragons. And so they are not so intelligent too, most of them just like parrots. They divide in three races - the "fire-drachibris" (not speaking, but spitting fire), the "water-drachibris" (spitting water-fountains and living in the seas, some of them can produce ink) and at last the "Plapperer" ("Mutterer), the speaking Drachibris.
"Little Button" in German "Knöpfchen" is one of them. His speciality is to sort everything he can his paws on, but he likes buttons best. Because of this, Freawyns character "Framhorn" named him. He adopted the little critter right now, because he had sorted his sewing utensils in the last time and found some very special things.
And here is the little one, drawn only some days ago from me (for a better look click at the picture once or twice):
